The purpose of TUCSC
TUCSC is the competitive section of Tracy Youth Soccer league.
The club is organized to provide a high level of soccer for youths aged U11-U19. This year TUCSC has 15 competitive teams in the class 1 and class 3 programs. Click on the teams button to find out what teams are currently running.
Coaches.
Coaches are selected each year to run the various teams.
Coaches are volunteers and do not get paid. TUCSC requires all coaches to reach E/D license level. Most are encouraged to reach National D level. Some teams do use paid trainers. This is done on a team by team basis.
Required Commitment
The Season starts in August and runs through until January/April (depending on age). Pre season practice normally starts in May. Practice normally comprises of two or three sessions per week. During September, October and November
all teams play 2 games each Saturday for the first three weeks of the month. The last week of each month is open for tournament play where each team will travel to a selected tournament. Tournaments are played Saturday and Sunday.
The number of tournaments attended varies with each team, but it is usually between 5 and 7.

Costs
The registration fee is set at the beginning of each new season. This years registration costs will be between $225.00 and $250 per player.
This cost pays for insurance, referee fees, fields and various other costs. Other costs include uniforms and tournament fees. Most teams have fundraising events planned each year to help with the costs of tournament fees.: A typical tournament cost is $300.; Typical Uniform costs are $130-$170.

Try-Outs

Registration
Teams are usually formed within a week of the last try-out. All players are required to complete the CYSA(1601) registration forms. Players must provide a copy of their birth certificate and a passport size photograph.
Parent organization
Any competitive soccer team requires a great deal of organization and effort. Please help the coaches with the following:-
1/ Communication. Advise the manager/coach of any activity or concern that may affect the team and practice.
2/ Make sure your child arrives on time with the correct equipment and plenty of water.
3/ Assist in all team/club activities such as tournament set up and fundraising

TUCSC Board meetings.

TUCSC board meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. The time and location is as follows:-
7.00pm - Tracy Sports Complex.
The board meetings are open meetings and all parents of players are welcome to attend. The annual general meeting for TUCSC is held in December of each year. At this meeting parents have voting rights on board member selection and by-law changes.
